A nice selection of letterpress-printed postcards designed by Bruce Licher and pulled from the Independent Project Records & Press archives. Offered as a set of 10 pieces, including performance announcement cards for Savage Republic and Scenic. Other pieces include a Savage Republic full-color photo postcard printed in 1983 while Licher was still working out of the Women's Graphic Center letterpress shop, and several Savage Republic tour cards from 1986 and 1987. Only five sets of these 10 cards are being made available at this time. All of these items will eventually be available for purchase individually, but this set of cards is being offered at a reduced price for the set.

Includes copies of some of the earliest letterheads designed for Independent Project Records & Independent Project Press, along with performance announcement cards for Savage Republic, Camper Van Beethoven, Kommunity FK, Deception Bay, and Drowning Pool. Other pieces include Savage Republic stamped envelopes, a booklet of Stereolab stamps, a holiday greeting card for R.E.M., a printed proof for the Scatological album by Indian Bingo, a Savage Republic bumper sticker, exhibition announcement cards for The Project Room at Independent Project Press, and much more. Only fifteen sets of 15 and fifteen sets of 30 available. All of these items will eventually be available for purchase individually, but these sets of ephemera are being offered at greatly reduced prices for the sets. Some pieces in the sets may have minor printing issues or small creases, though most are in excellent condition.

Souvenir poster created for the gallery exhibit documenting Stuart Swezey's 1980's Desolation Center events that was held at Cornelius Projects in San Pedro, California during the summer of 2017. At the time this poster was printed there were plans to create a limited letterpress edition of the LP, which did not end up happening. Digging deep into the Independent Project archives, we found a stack of original printer's proofs created for the LP cover art for Camper Van Beethoven's Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart LP. It was from these proofs that the color scheme of the final album cover was determined. These are multi-color letterpress prints on a soft oatmeal paper. The paper is not archival therefore there is some toning around the edges. Several of the prints may have a small crease or tiny tear along one edge or corner.  In addition to the "normal" color variations there are some that have the opaque white run that is usually underneath the photo of Victor printed upside down (see images below). This is something that Bruce often does, as it can be interesting to see where things land when they are printed off-register -- one never knows how a "mistake" may create a new way of looking at a design. Each print is signed in pencil by the designer/printer Bruce Licher. One copy of each color variation is available at $175 per print. If the color version you want is sold out it will not load into the cart and that means you should choose another version.
